Your inner dreamworld

So... what to write here?
Such a lot of empty space to write on and... yes! Now I got it!

First I will keep the Talking Stick for myself in the inner landscape.

But... no... I must have a form or idea to focus on. The Self was too formless, so I cannot grasp it.

I take the older part of my inner personality, symbolized by the Grandmother.

Before I got grandchildren I didn't have this part awake, but today she is coming through almost every day. Almost preaching to me.
Yes, she is preaching to me! And I am writing and writing.
Especially in the morning when I sit here, drinking coffee, daydreaming and looking out of the window.

When I stop writing I am tired of the text so it is not easy to edit it. Usually I just leave it there and the next day I start on a new text, another one. That is more fun!
If I start editing something, that I wrote the day before, I usually have the intention of taking away something, to make the text shorter.
But as soon as I start reading I also wake up my inspiration and then I start putting new things into the text, so the result is always that the text gets longer and longer and longer.
Yes, here she comes.
So... Talking Stick to Grandmother!

Inner landscape
We do not only have the Inner Child.
But we have other parts too, like the Inner Wisdom Keeper, the inner Hero, Princess, Prince, Maiden, Teacher, Warrior, Magician or whatever that suits you.
Just wake them up!
How?

Just start playing that part in your mind!

You have an inner world where you can be what you want and where you can contact side-personalities that you like. Or contact the ones that you do not like and talk with them and make them change. They can be made up by memories.
Memories from the past, from the future or from some fairy-tale.
Some figures are personal but we also have common ones that we share.
C G Jung called them archetypes.

Every one has The Inner Child inside and when this child takes over you feel hurt and suddenly jump into a childish behaviour. Mostly we feel it but we do not want to show it.

To avoid these situations we learn a certain behaviour that should protect this little child.
But there are also therapies to liberate this child from it´s fears, which could be memories from our  childhood or previous life-time.

This child is not there because you visualize it, it is more an aphorism that means "reacting on bad memories".
Today, among people,  it is quite accepted to talk about the Inner Child as a part of the Psyche.
I think that the healthy Child archetype is something else, the happy inner child, not the wounded one.

In my inner dreamland I have some archetypes, that i can use for my inner dialogues, and one of them is Sofia, who is clever in finding errors everywhere.  She stands on a heap of books and dictionaries and she loves to explain, which is also her duty.
As soon as she sees an error she grabs the Talking Stick and starts to preach.
Or points at a dictionary, or so. I think she is my Inner Language Teacher.
And I write down what she says.
It was a friend of mine who discovered her and... yes, I like her. She keeps things in order and prevents me from believing a lot of nonsense that others try to make me believe.

The body is like a ship that is floating on the ocean of emotions, sometimes quietly in the sunshine, with all the sailors half asleep, and sometimes being cast around in storms and hurricanes,  with all the sailors being alert.
Only the chosen sailor is allowed to hold the steering wheel, surveyed by the captain, and if anyone else just takes over, then  it is mutiny.
Or maybe it can also be called democracy = anyone is allowed to take over as long as he makes it in such a sly and slow way that the others get convinced about it.

We could say that the sailors are our instincts. They should be trained to react in the best and quickest manner to save the ship from any danger.

You are the owner of your ship
The captain is a good allegory for your mind, which can also be taken over by something else that you, being the owner of the ship, has not really agreed to. It just happens!
An example would be that you, with your rational intellect promises that you will never eat junk food – and the next day you buy a kilo of candies, which you quickly eat up, promising never to do so again.
Or you have stopped smoking and the next week you buy a new packet of cigarettes and say that it doesn't matter because it is the last packet anyway.

Then the instincts have taken over and you have lost the control of your ship.

The captain obeys the sailors and not you. He can even get so much taken over by the sailors that he forgets that you exist.
Then it's time for therapy.

Your inner sailors do not have the ability to distinguish between right and wrong in a more complicated way, so they believe that candies are healthy food.

In India it is described like this:

For a man, mind is the cause of bondage
and the mind is the cause of liberation.
Mind absorbed in sense objects
is the cause of bondage,
and mind detached from the sense objects
is the cause of liberation.

Fantasy creates our reality
You cannot focus on anything without being influenced by it and your inner captain starts sailing in that direction.
The stronger your emotion is the harder he grabs the steering wheel.

So you give your orders to your captain, with your intent, focus and fantasy.
So always fill your mind with something that you do want to sail to, or be part of.
You might say that it is “only fantasy” – but for the captain it is still an order.
Fantasy is not “only”. You get influenced by it.

Your inner Quantum Captain
The captain can take a quantum leap and become a Quantum Captain!
It is when he has got the order of sailing into the only direction that we can not so easily see or understand – inwards and towards your own essence, your own sun.

Karma
In India your map, your destiny is called karma.
It is not what you have done – it is what you are.
You are what you have done, but not only that.
You also are what you usually focus on.

Around your body you have a physical skin, but you also have an electromagnetic “skin” around you. Like a moving bubble that some can see as colors.
You cannot see it but you can feel the fluctuations in it.
Your karma consists of something that makes up the electromagnetic patterns of this “skin”. Like a little eternal DNA-spark.
This pattern is constantly fluctuating according to your experiences, actions and thoughts.
This pattern is the mirror of your karma that you carry with you and the patterns attract or repel everything, like magnets with a + and a – side.
When you got your Quantum Captain you can more easily attract distant things.
And then you will more easily meet with those happenings that C G Jung called synchronicity.

This captain has always been known and in different belief systems he has had different names and shapes. You are supposed to visualize Christ, Krishna, Vishnu etc in the heart to make the mind sail in a good direction.
If you concentrate on a mythological figure that you like, you can get energy from it, but simultaneously you will be drawn to that world, which it represents. It's a collaboration.

You are the Eternal Soul. It is difficult to translate, because in our culture we do not have the right words for these things, so different people use different words and many people also invent new words.

If you invent a new word it is easier to teach about it, because you are the only one who knows the meaning of it.
So you easily get rid of all the people who want to make objections to it or discuss it in their own terms. And you do not risk to meet someone else, who is already an expert on it and maybe knows more about it than you do.

So what? I am not religious?
I would say that you are!
Every person believes in something and if you believe in science then science is your religion. Or economy. Or techniques. Or politics. Or playing the guitar. Anything that you fill your mind with and learn. Even computer games can be your religion. Atheism can also be, if you concentrate on it.
You are religious as soon as you follow an education, that is shaping your mind in a certain way.
This will be what you believe in and what you trust.

Religion
If you look it up in a dictionary you will find that religion is derived from the Latin word religare which means to bind again, to rebind.
But that is not the whole truth because the discussion has been going for more than thousand years about the meaning of the word.
So it is equally true, I would say more true, that it derives from relegere, which means to read again.

Relegere is not to be seen only as to read again in a book, but rather as what you are really doing when you “reread”.
You are taking in knowledge and you do it over and over again, in a way that you become one with it. It becomes the way you see the world.
Today we do not call it religion, we call it education or “doing the home-works”.

Glasses
Fill your mind with something in this way and you are putting these kind of glasses on your nose and they will now determine how you perceive the world.
All people do this.
We work hard on putting the right kind of glasses on the nose.
And then the intellect says that this is the only truth and the only right way to perceive reality and it starts to defend the glasses.
Then we gather into groups that can confirm the validity of our special kind of glasses. And in such a group it is very easy to know that other groups are wearing the wrong kind of glasses.

Talking Stick?
Yes, briefly it is a wooden stick that is used in the same way as a microphone among the Red Indians and the one who holds it has the right to talk.

I suppose this kind of writing could be called  Realistic Fiction or Philosophical Fiction.
Probably a mixture between them
